LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The battle over a permit for Occupy Louisville protestors may be headed to federal court.
A hearing was scheduled for Jan.6, but the city requested it be moved to federal court due to First Amendment issues.
A permit for demonstrators who have set up tents and are sleeping overnight in a downtown park expired Dec. 31, but city officials have agreed not to take any action until the courts rule.
